MANILA, Philippines — Several areas in the country, including Metro Manila, were at risk of a storm surge ranging from one to more than three meters high due to Super Typhoon Pepito (international name: Man-yi), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) warned on Sunday.
As of 2 a.m. on November 17, the low-lying and coastal areas of the following places are at risk of storm surge within the next 48 hours:
